Alot of time from newer stuff its still not realistic. I like those kind of 90s early 2000s rompler sounds because your just not always wanting a realistic sound. Roland and Korg are both making that era's romplers available as plugins, I wonder why Yamaha's not interested? Could it be the Steinberg ownership? It really shines as a 1 midi channel instrument and even just a great playing keyboard controller.

The Ex5 I think was a very ambitious keyboard that people didnt quite "get" That and a little under cpu'd to run full song multimbral sequences with. Not quite sure the SYs really count as not so mainstream, but way less popular then the motif, Rolands, and Triton/Trinity. The Roland JV/XV, the Motif from Yamaha, and the Triton (and M1 though from the 80s)I have two more fringe ones in hardware as well, that have yet to be replicated in software. I really enjoy the Rompler sounds from the 1990s and early 2000s. I guess that's why it was only $500, that and a small dent. Then when I finally got one, and the best version, a few months later got the plugin. I had wanted a Triton for about 23 years.

The software is just so quick and convenient. I especially like the sounds that sound somewhere between a synth and an acoustic instrument. It helps me pick out sounds fast without a lot of thinking and alot of acoustic sounds youd think would be bad from a soundest that small memory and old are very useable. I use the sounds every bit as much as larger sample libraries. I think it has all the same expansions as the plugin but the plugin might have more. I only keep it around because its an 88 and I'll get around to setting it up as a piano and rhodes controller. I haven't turned it on in over a year since I got Triton VST. Sold my rack and never looked backI have a Triton Extreme here in the room with me. Editing with the VST is far easier and more fun than the rack unit itself, also way more fun than Soundtower and Midiquest Then of course you get a editor that works great with modern computers/OS. Usually the cards go for $100 to $150 or more You get all of the sample content included from all the cards
To me that is the best part of the Triton Plugin. Yeah i don thave issues with paramaters, they're recalled of course, just the browser, i m on "one"screen configuration here, controller is set to open the instruments of the selected channel so when i change channel i get the corresponding instrument displayedĭoes the minty rack mount for $300 have all 8 of the expansion library EXB-PCM cards included? I hate to be that doctor who, when told "Doc, every time I turn my head this way it hurts" responds with "then stop doing that", but why would you close the GUI? Anyway, it intrigued me so I just *had* to test that out and it sure looks like a bug to me. If I had to take a guess, the preset browser was designed and coded by a different team than the full GUI (or maybe it was a hurried afterthought) because the GUI maintains other persistent states between instantiations, for example the "OSC 2 SET" stays selected on the "Easy" menu.įull Triton SAADBSSR envelopes (this really infuriated me in the VST) ThksI hate to be that doctor who, when told "Doc, every time I turn my head this way it hurts" responds with "then stop doing that", but why would you close the GUI? Anyway, it intrigued me so I just *had* to test that out and it sure looks like a bug to me. When i do a filtered search with the plugin, close the gui and re open, the serach is reset (i don't lose the preset but the filters of searches ) i loked the search category on the preset zone (near name in the uppper the plugin ) but still, as soon as i close the guy everything gone : BUG or INTENDED like this ? Just got me this baby and i wanted to ask you guyz something :
